Golf Society The Golf Society currently has about 100 members. We arrange six events at a variety of local courses between the months of April and September. In October we have a three day 'Away Break' at an attractive course further afield. Our golfing events are usually four ball better ball competitions played in mixed teams. Although competiton is keen, the high point of the day is often a lunch or dinner after the event where tales of missed opportunities can be exchanged over a glass of wine and a good dinner! In addition we have three social events during the year. Non-playing members are most welcome to attend the lunch or dinner after golf and all social events.
Any members of Phyllis Court Club are very welcome to join the Golf Society. The only thing we ask is that you belong to a recognised golf club and have a current handicap. The annual fee to join the Golf Society is £15 for a playing member/£5 for a non-playing member. The fees are used to provide prizes for the competitions.
